Whole School Community
In 12th July 2018, we hosted a wellbeing event at our school. Well-being is a term for the condition of an individual or group. A high level of well-being means an individual’s or group’s condition is positive. Many things can affect a person’s well-being, relationships with friends and family, pressures from school or work, the weather or even the result of a football match.
Well-being is dynamic, it can change very quickly or over a sustained period of time. The aim of our wellbeing project is to provide support to our children, teachers and our community to improve their well-being.
We recognise that everyone, at one time or another will feel sad, upset and even angry. Our collective role is to provide support in these instances to improve that person’s well-being. This might be a place to go, a thing to do or a person to speak to.
The wellbeing event showcased Hartside’s well-being offer which is available to everyone – children, staff and the community. The children sang songs, Jack-Drum Art performed, staff and families played together in our grounds.
A wonderful time was had by everyone.
