PLANNING PROVISION AND BUDGET 2017/18

The table below illustrates how Hartside Primary School intend to spend the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding this academic year as well as continually review and plan next steps. This provision is subject to ongoing change and review over this and next academic year. The PE and school Sports premium funding will be used in conjunction with other grants and funds from the school budget to continue to raise standards in curriculum PE, school sport and physical activity (PESSPA).

TA now delivering swimming lessons to half of the class, therefore all the children can access the pool for the full hour, which will increase the number of children reaching NC expectation in swimming.

 

Sports leaders are now confident at delivering playground games and hosting intra-school competitions. Previous school leavers now returning to Hartside to deliver afterschool clubs, e.g. a netball club has been delivered this year under the supervision of Mrs Clarkson.

Subject feels confident in her role and is ensuring that she is providing and delivering up-to-date information.

WV&T calendar

KS2 have all completed at least 2 intra school competitions for their house teams.

 

 

All children across the school have had the opportunity to take part and experience a level 2 competition and they have thoroughly enjoyed it.
