Friends of Hartside
Who are we?
We're a group of volunteers who's aim is to raise funds to enhance childrens learning experience at school. This includes things such as funding the purchase of new books for the school library, new IT equipment, trips and transport costs.
What do we do?
We hold regular events throughout the year such as Summer & Christmas Fayres, Discos, and non uniform days. We also run a toddler group on a Tuesday morning from 10:00am - 11:30am!
Who can get involved?
Friends of Hartside School is open to anyone – parents/carers, grandparents and anyone who would like to support the schools fundraising efforts.
How can you help?
We are always looking for volunteers to help at our events either on the day to prepare and/or be present at the event, or with donations for tombola stalls and cakes for coffee mornings. Don't worry, you won't be expected to be at all of our events!
Who should you contact?
If you'd like to get involved then you can visit our Friends of Hartside School Facebook page to be kept up to date with what we're doing.
You could come along to our next event which can be checked on this website or contact Mrs Thompson or Miss Gent via the main office.
Don't forget, even if you don't have any spare time to volunteer, you can still raise money for us by doing your online shopping via www.thegivingmachine.co.uk.
