Welcome to Hartside Primary School

At Hartside Primary we have been taking part in a project to stimulate children’s imaginations so that they are able to invent stories and be able to share them.

Our resident storyteller Pascale Konyn spent a week working with each class where they were taken on an visit to a place as a stimulus such as Hamsterly Forest.

Back in the classroom children were involved in an art based activity such as making wooden spoon puppets and in small groups they created a group story which was then shared in an assembly.
